For codeshare routes where the IndiGo “6E” code applies (e.g., when booking via IndiGo’s site), classic Qantas or Jetstar points usage may not always be available unless booked as a Qantas-marketed (QF) codeshare flight.
• Points Plus Pay: Jetstar’s “Points Plus Pay” allows you to use a combination of Qantas Points and cash for Jetstar flights booked through Jetstar with the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. However, usage of Jetstar Business Rewards Points or Qantas Points for IndiGo-coded flights via IndiGo’s website has not been confirmed for the new codeshare routes as of August 2025.
• No Jetstar-Only Points Redemption: If you are a Jetstar Business Rewards customer or previously earned “Jetstar Points,” these are not directly redeemable on IndiGo or codeshare flights.

• Book with a Qantas (QF) Code: To earn or redeem Qantas Points on combined itineraries, your flights must carry a Qantas flight number. This typically requires booking through Qantas or a Qantas-authorised agent and ensuring at least one international sector is with Qantas or its partners.
• Check the Fine Print: For IndiGo codeshare bookings made on the IndiGo website, the earning and burning of Qantas/Jetstar points is not guaranteed. Always check the fare conditions and whether your Qantas Frequent Flyer number can be added prior to booking.
• Classic Flight Rewards: Qantas Frequent Flyers can redeem points for “Classic Flight Rewards” that include Jetstar and IndiGo connections only when the flights are booked as part of a connecting international QF itinerary.
