MICROSOFT LAUNCHED WOMEN GUARDIAN – A PROTECTION SOFTWARE FOR FEMALES

It’s not very unusual to hear about rape cases in India especially when last year Nirbhaya incident happened in Delhi and the whole world watched the protest in all big cities. A huge number of Indian women work in offices that make it more risky for them to get caught in such horrible incidents. To avoid such sad incidents, Microsoft India has launched Guardian application for windows mobile phones.
The best thing about this app is that the friends and family members of a user of this app can track the real time location any time they want using cloud services and Bing maps. Additionally, there is a SOS button feature is added in this app. This feature enables females to contact their family members or even security agencies with one push of a button. The Microsoft authorities have stated that this application is developed over a period of six years and the key purpose behind making this app is to make the women secure and travel safely.
