2. Copyright & Image Use

We claim no ownership over third-party copyrighted material.

• Images sourced from social media, user submissions, or stock platforms (e.g. Canva, Shutterstock) are assumed to be appropriately licensed, submitted with permission, or used under editorial fair use.
• We do not knowingly upload or use unlicensed imagery. If you believe your work has been used inappropriately, follow our Takedown Process (Clause 6).

The burden of proof rests on the complainant to show valid rights and jurisdiction.

3. User-Submitted Content

• By submitting content (text, images, videos), you warrant that you own the rights or have obtained permission to publish.
• You grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to publish, modify or distribute your content across our platforms.
• You indemnify Made in India Magazine from any liability or legal claim resulting from your submission.

4. Third-Party Content and Scraping Policy

• We occasionally republish public domain or publicly posted content (e.g. quotes, thumbnails, social posts) under editorial use, transformative context, and commentary rights.
• We do not operate automated RSS feeds. All republished content is manually selected and edited with added context or commentary.
• If you believe your content has been scraped or used unfairly, contact us under our Takedown Process (Clause 6).

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the Site.
• We are not liable for third-party copyright claims, provided due process was followed and remedial action is offered.

6. Copyright Takedown Process (DMCA-style)

If you believe your copyrighted work appears on our site without permission:

1. Email us at connect@madeinindiamagazine.com.au with:
   • Full name and contact details
   • Direct URL of the content
   • Proof of ownership or licence
   • Your statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is unauthorised
2. If valid, we will:
   • Acknowledge receipt within 5 business days
   • Temporarily remove the content while we verify the claim
   • Request evidence from both parties
   • Repost or permanently remove based on outcome

False claims or automated notices will be rejected.

7. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the NSW courts.
