Honey kettle corn
Combine honey, butter, salt, and vanilla in a medium saucepan. Heat until butter is melted and the mixture is thoroughly combined. Then heat oil in a large Dutch oven or a pan with a lid and add a couple of popcorn kernels while heating. When those pieces of popcorn pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels and cover them with a lid. Heat popping popcorn in the Dutch oven with a top, shaking the pan back and forth gently until you can no longer hear the popping seeds
Lastly, remove the pan from heat and remove the lid. Pour warm honey-butter mixture evenly over popcorn and stir well with a wooden spoon. Add sprinkles and mix with a wooden spoon.
Store at room temperature in a sealed container. Besides, it takes 15 minutes to prepare, and without a doubt, honey kettle corn is sure to appease your midnight hunger pangs.
Nutella Microwave mug cake
Take a big microwave-safe or heatproof mug (you can use a bowl) and whisk 1/4 cup Nutella, ¼ flour, 3 Tablespoons milk and ¼ baking powder. Then, use a fork or whisk to mix all the ingredients. Once all the ingredients are mixed well into a smooth consistency batter, please put it in the microwave and give it a minute and a half. After a minute and a half, take it out of the microwave, and you will see fluffy, chocolatey goodness that melts in your mouth; you can pair it with vanilla ice cream.
P.s insert a toothpick into the care centre and take it out; if the toothpick is clean, your mug cake is done; if you find the batter mixture on the toothpick, put the mixture for another minute.
Bread pizza
You may or may not be able to order pizza at midnight( most probably you can’t); however, you can make a delicious variation of it in bread pizza. First, heat a heavy pan or skillet, and spread about ½ to 1 teaspoon olive oil. You can even use butter instead of olive oil and keep a low flame.
Next, place 1 to 2 bread slices on the pan; you can put more depending on the pan’s size and use a variety of bread like white bread, whole wheat or brown bread or multi-grain bread.
Lightly toast the bread from the base, flip it, and apply some pizza sauce on the lightly toasted side; add some freshly cut onion, tomato, and capsicum cubes. Next, add some steamed corn kernels or sauteed mushrooms.
Then, sprinkle some dried herbs like oregano and basil. Also, add some crushed black pepper or black pepper powder. Next, grate some mozzarella cheese and on low heat, place a lid on the pizza bread. Let it cook till the cheese melts; finally, remove the pizza bread on a plate using a spatula, and sprinkle some red chilli flakes or oregano. Have it while they are still hot with some tomato sauce.
Chocolate Sandwich
You may often find chocolate sandwiches on the menus of eateries and cafes; however, these crispy, sweet sandwiches are easy to make. First, take a handful of your favourite nuts, almonds, peanuts, cashews or walnuts, and chop them as finely as possible. Then, on a slice of bread, put a handful of chocolate chips and chopped nuts; layer them with banana slices or maple syrup.
Put a bread slice over the bread with the nuts and chocolate chips and spread butter over it. Heat some butter in the pan and place the chocolate sandwich in the pan with the buttered side up. Let it toast on low heat until the bread’s base turns crisp, then turn it on the other side using a spatula.
Then, put some chocolate chips on top of the crisp sandwiches; after a minute, when they begin to melt, spread the melted chocolate using a knife and garnish it with white chocolate. Finally, slice the chocolate sandwich using a knife and bite into the pieces while experiencing the heavenly taste.
Paneer tikka or roasted paneer
You might think that preparing paneer dishes can take a lot of time; hence, it is unsuitable for midnight snacks. But this paneer recipe takes fifteen minutes to prepare; first, take paneer cubes (If you are using frozen paneer cubes, place the cubes in a bowl of hot water for around 5 minutes).
In a bowl, add 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric powder, ½ red chilli powder, salt to taste, and paneer cubes; mix them well and ensure the paneer cubes are well-coated with the spices. Next, heat some oil or butter in a pan and place the paneer cubes in the pan. Let them cook till the bottom sides turn golden, after which you need to flip them to the other side. Lastly, sprinkle some chat masala over them, and paneer tikka is ready to satisfy your taste buds.
P.s you can make a dipping sauce to accompany the paneer tikka; grind some chopped coriander, one green chilli, and half a ginger—½ tablespoons lemon juice and two teaspoons of salt.
