9 Things Women Wish Men Understood

Men and women are so different that sometimes I wonder whether they are from the same species or not. Most men perceive women as mysterious creatures. They constantly try to decode what we are saying, what actually we meant by that and what do we really want from them in general. But honestly, we are not all that difficult to understand. We just need you to listen to us. Trust me, all your queries will get resolved once the communication channel between you and your partner becomes clearer. To simplify things a bit, we have enlisted some of the things a woman would want her guy to understand, automatically –
1. Usually men are not very good with understanding or expressing emotions. On the other hand, women love to be with men who can express their feelings without inhibitions. But, please make a note that being a cry baby isn’t going to help.
2. When we talk, please pay attention! You might not believe, but we can totally tell if you are actually listening to us or just nodding your head while thinking about the new Avengers film that was just released.
3. Yes, we know that your mom cooks amazing food, but we really don’t need your comparisons each time we make something for you in the kitchen.
4. You can resolve all kinds of issues by the power of communication. So, when something isn’t right, talk, fight, argue, but please don’t go into the ‘silent mode’.
5. Chivalry is the most attractive feature in a man’s behaviour. At least once in a while try to introduce us to the gentleman inside of you. Be courteous and be polite.
6. Stop bragging! Showing off is kind of a turn-off. A classy guy would never brag about how much he earns, how many cars he owns or how big his apartment is. Being successful doesn’t give you the permission to be rude.
7. Don’t force your decisions on us, because you don’t own us. Every woman has a life of her own and you can’t tell her what to do and what not to do as per your beliefs and principles of life. Give her the mental space she needs or soon this relationship will hit the end of the road.
8. Your woman loves to hear that you love her. Basically, she can’t get enough of it! You do not necessarily have to say ‘I love you’ all the time. There are a number of ways in which you can express your love. Be thoughtful and be romantic. We are not asking for a lot. Just an occasional dinner date or a surprise gift once in a while. That’s all!
9. Don’t make fun of our family members or close friends. You can show you’ve got a great sense of humour, but know where to draw a line.
