 A BOOK TO EXPERIENCE THE INDIAN TRADITIONAL CUISINE

Fast food items are getting more and more famous in every country and culture and India of today, is also experiencing the foods from around the world. We see Italian, French, Chinese and Thailand cuisine places all over the India and if on one hand, it has brought versatility in foods for Indian people, it has made the traditional Indian foods go vanished. To experience those tastes and food items of old India, Historian Alka Pande has finished a new book on Indian traditional cuisines called “Mukhwas”.
On launching day of this cookery book on December 18, Alka shared some secrets of her that helped in this book. She stated “lots of foods and traditional ingredients that we don’t use anymore, can be found in this book that takes us decades back in time when we used to use buckwheat and bajra”. She also said that the key purpose behind this attempt is to rediscover the tastes that we have given up over past few decades.
