The new Smartraveller campaign, launched by the Australia Government, encourages Australian travellers to make Smartraveller their first destination.

Each month, there are more than 1 million departures from Australia and, at any point in time, there are around 1,250 cases of Australians needing help overseas.

The best way to stay safe is to be prepared.
