PEOPLE ARE MORE SCARED OF GETTING HACKED THAN BEING TRACKED
When it was revealed by a US government person that America is keeping an eye on its citizens and people in other countries, it was quite a shock for most of us. People protested as they found out that they are constantly being watched and tracked by their government. This made us suppose that people are scared of tracking and don’t want anyone to follow their footsteps but in reality, people are more scared of hacking that tracking.
A research shows that about 75% of the contestants in the research program were actually more scared of being hacked and didn’t thought tracking as a big deal. About 50% of them were scared to think that hacking could reveal their history of internet ads. To avoid hacking, this group was also noted that most of the members in the research program use different passwords for each account on internet and they erase their browsing history and internet cookies regularly as they don’t want anyone to find what they have been searching on internet.
