Long lasting lip stick
Are you tired of applying lipstick and watching it disappear in a couple of hours tops? If so, try putting on three coats of lipstick one over the other, and make sure you dust pressed powder from an eye-shadow brush between one layer and the next. Not only will it last as long as eight hours, it will also make your lips shimmer like those of an angel. Only make sure that you don’t lick your lips too much after this, unless your eye-shadow is edible!
Paint your right hand
Since the dawn of time, nail-polishers have often wondered how one can apply nail polish with the wrong hand (right hand if you’re left-handed, and left hand if you’re right-handed). Of all the suggested remedies for this insurmountable problem, we like the one where you keep your applying hand stationary and allow your ‘right’ hand to move under the brush, effectively applying itself to the nail polish. Instead of applying the polish to the nail, then, you apply the nail to the polish. Genius!
Get that open eye look
Have you ever noticed how some people always seem to get their eyeliner just right whereas some never seem to be able to? If you’re someone who has always been in the latter team, don’t fret. It could be that you’ve been using your eyeliner wrong. Take a bit of your liner on a flat brush and apply it between your eyelashes from the underside. This creates a sparkle in your eye and increases the definition in your eyelashes. It will also give you a subtle look that is actually subtle.

For the ‘flicked eyeliner’ look, there are two things you must keep in mind. One: do it from under the lashes, not over them, and second, take your brush in a smooth flick across the lashes, that will make them stand outward.
Remove mascara with a spoon
The humble garden spoon will come in handy to remove extra mascara from your eye lashes. Just place the spoon flat against the lashes, under your eye, so that your lashes rest on the curved bottom of the spoon, and then with a brush, just slide off all the extra mascara.
