5 FITNESS TIPS FROM RANBIR KAPOOR

We all want the shapely physique of young Bollywood stars. Women want them, men want to be them. In this article, we give you five tips that are used by none other than Ranbir Kapoor, Bollywood’s poster boy. Read on to find out how you can get your own drool-worthy body.
FITNESS TIPS FROM RANBIR KAPOOR
Ever since Ranbir Kapoor showed his butt off in his debut film Saawariya, armed with a towel, he has been sending chills of pleasure into the hearts of Indian women throughout the world. It is not just his boyish good looks and versatile acting talent, but it’s also his toned physique that sets hearts aflutter. Despite his tight schedule, Ranbir keeps a close watch on his body and physical health because he has to look after his image the best way he can.
The following are tips that we can all learn from Ranbir Kapoor on how to manage a fit body along with a busy schedule.
1. Pay attention to your diet
Diet, not exercise, is the most important factor that controls physical health and appearance. The amount of fat you build on your body is determined by the kind and quantity of food you put into it. No matter how much exercise you do, consume the wrong things and you will still not get that flat, muscular abdomen. Ranbir’s breakfast consists of a banana or an egg white with brown bread, milk with cornflakes, and fresh juice. For lunch, he has protein-rich foods like meat, along with carbohydrates such as chapattis. For dinner, he likes to have grilled fish, chicken or salmon.
2. Workout regularly
This is a no-brainer. In order to remain fit and healthy, you must include rigorous exercise in your schedule. Before you start complaining about how busy you are, understand that you’re probably not as busy as Ranbir. If he can take time out for gym sessions, you can too. Like him, focus on all your muscle groups, with a special emphasis on legs and abs. Also don’t forget to warm up and down adequately.
3. Drink lots of water
Water has the ability to detox your body and keep you going throughout the day. Carry a bottle of water wherever you go, and consume at least five litres of water every day. That will not only keep you refreshed and hydrated, but also give your skin a healthy glow.
4. Play a sport or practice martial arts
If you find gym sessions boring, substitute some of your exercise with other options such as playing a sport or to learn a new form of martial arts. Sports and combat techniques tend to release endorphins and pump adrenaline through your body, which are more likely to give you enjoyment while at the same time working your body. The Bombay Velvet star is a huge football fan and plays the sport regularly.
5. Give your body time to recover
When you put your body through intense workout, the muscles tear and disintegrate. Then, when they recover, they grow back stronger than they were before. If you don’t give your muscles enough time to rest, they will not grow bigger or stronger. Therefore, it’s important that you allow enough time for your body to recuperate between one workout session and the next.
