Delta Airlines in soup after asking a mother to cover up during breastfeeding
It seems Delta Airlines has landed itself in trouble after asking a breastfeeding passenger to cover up despite US Laws that allow a mother to breastfeed her offspring in public. As per the reports, one of the spokesmen of Delta Airlines told Lindsay Jaynes that she will not be allowed to breastfeed her baby unless she decides to cover up properly.
Before the flight, Lindsay Jaynes had contacted the flight officials and informed them that she was unable to nurse her baby with a bottle or a cover. The conversation happened through tweets and reportedly, the support team of Delta Airlines straightaway refused to allow her to breastfeed her baby on board. Rather, the spokesman asked her to carry a bottle even after she had already specified that her son does not prefer bottle milk.
Lindsay retaliated by saying, “So even though I am legally allowed to breastfeed without a cover, you’re saying I can’t?”.
