Hrithik-Kareena starrer “Shuddhi” to be the priciest Bollywood flick
The last time we saw Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor together on screen was 10 years back. Now, Karan Johar is all set to bring the dazzling duo back together on the silver screen with his next venture named “Shuddhi”. Rumours are rife that the movie will be made on a staggering budget of 150 crores. The producer has highlighted the fact that there will be no second thoughts regarding the expenditures of production and with that, has pushed “Shuddhi” over all other expensive flicks in Bollywood.
The movie will be produced by Karan Johar himself and directed by Karan Malhotra of “Agneepath” fame. Recently in an interview, Karan revealed that the plan was to make a movie which is immensely dramatic and carries a hefty budget. It is being rumoured that some of the scenes for the movie had been shot recently when the director was visiting Bhopal. As per sources, some ancient landmarks in and around Bhopal have been finalized for a few scenes of the movie which is primarily based upon the theologies of reincarnation.
There have been very few movies which have embraced reincarnation as their theme and “Shuddhi” will now be joining that category. Furthermore, “Shuddhi” will have an intensely romantic storyline and henceforth, the lead pair will be bringing intensity on the screen. After “Agneepath”, Karan Malhotra was immensely ardent to work alongside Hrithik Roshan again and Kareena Kapoor comes in the league of the most versatile actresses that Bollywood has ever embraced.
“Shuddhi” might hit the screens by the end of this year.
