PEOPLE WONDER WHY MOST OF THE GALAXIES LOOK LIKE ROUND PIZZA
It’s not a difficult concept to understand for a person working in NASA or any other space centre but when it comes to common people, they simply can’t understand why most of the galaxies look round and kind of like pizza. Recently NASA has captured a picture of a galaxy that is 25 million light years away from us and it looks like pizza. When the question about its shape is asked to non-scientific persons, they can’t explain with any proper reason but NASA has explained it very easily.
NASA says that when you spin yourself on a revolving chair with your arms and legs in outer direction and suddenly you move your legs and arms inward, you start spinning faster than before even when there is no change in external force. This happens due to angular momentum and this is the reason for galaxies to shape like pizza as they spin, they force rocks and asteroids to rotate in a definite circular manner which gives it the round shape.
