HOW TO BE BUSY AND STILL WORK OUT

One of the main reasons many of us don’t work out is because ‘we are busy’. If that is your excuse, here are three quick tips on how to fit exercise into your lifestyle no matter how busy it is.
Kim Kardashian has a busy schedule, and she is a mother and a busy wife, and she travels extensively. But she somehow still manages to keep her figure. When asked how she does this, she says it’s a combination of not giving up on her exercise routine and not letting her diet go to pieces.
Here are three quick tips for you hit that balance between a busy life and exercise.
• Have a mini-workout that does not need weights or equipment. When you’re travelling a lot, there are bound to be times when you will land up in a city at odd hours, jet-lagged, and after the hotel’s gym has been closed. For these instances, have a mini-workout that you can do without needing weights. Press-ups, squats and abdomen crunches work great, and for a cardio, nothing beats skipping, even if you do it without a rope.
• No matter where you are eating, do not let your diet slip. Favour green drinks or smoothies over milkshakes and ice cream. Whichever restaurant you go to, ask for a green drink that they can make for you, even if it’s not on the menu. Most restaurants will do this.
• Try to sleep well. While this is not in your hands completely, one of the most common effects of being busy is that you lose out on sleep. If this is happening to you, there is a good chance that you will want to eliminate all that frustration by eating richer food than you should. If this is you, tell yourself to sleep well, for at least seven hours every night.
