 Fees increased by 5 percent across private schools in Australia

The fees of many prominent schools in Australia has been hiked by 5 percent for the next year owing to the rise in the cost of training programmes for teachers and also because of upgrading technology. The hike in the fees had been was slated to happen owing to the increase in the costs of training courses meant for people who are applying for teaching jobs.
Amongst the schools that have hiked their fee by the highest percentage, there is Canberra Girls Grammar which has hiked its fees by 6.7 percent whereas Christ Church Grammar School based in Perth has increased its fees by 6 percent. The survey was conducted by The Weekend Australian. Another important factor behind the increase in the fees happens to be the hike in wages and this has forced the schools to enforce a hike in their fee structure.
